Allstock 30 is not formulated for ad lib feeding, as animals may tend to consume more product than necessary. Over consumption may not be harmful to livestock; however, it is not essential nor economical.
The product is best used in a TMR or home mix. It may be fed to dairy, beef and sheep. Inclusion rates in home mixed rations will depend on the desired consistency and ration requirements.
Recommended rates when mixed with cereals and compounds are 4-7% of the total ration (by volume) to be mixed. It may be adjusted to a rate of 7-10% when used for calf and horse feeds, where a more moist end-product is desired.
