Seaweed is a bio-stimulant and its inclusion stimulates both the soil bacteria and the plants natural response resulting in a healthier plant. It originates in Ireland as Ascophyllan nodosum seaweed, before being dried and ground into a water soluble powder.
Landowner’s Think Green Liquid Seaweed has the following benefits:
- Contains 8% seaweed solids
- Soil Association Approved, all natural organic product
- Contains cytokinins and auxins to promote healthy plant growth
- Aids root development to give a stronger plant
- Feeds soil bacteria to increase overall nutrient availability in the soil
- High Concentration of seaweed solids; this concentration is significantly higher than some other products on the market.

Application
Think Green Seaweed has 8% seaweed solids which means it is very beneficial for plants, grassland and commercial crops.
Application:
- Seeds & young plants – Applied at 15ml per 10 litres of water.
- Mature Plants – To be applied at 40ml per 10 litres of water.
- Turf – To be applied at 50ml in 10 litres of water per 10 square metres.
- Commercial crops inc grasslands – To be applied at 5 litres per ha in 300 litres of water per hectare.
Water rate:
- 300 litres/hectare according to crop cover
Technical Information
Compatibility:
- Think Green Seaweed is compatible with all Landowner liquid fertilisers and blight sprays.
Mixing:
- Add to water first. All tank mixes should be used immediately and kept under constant agitation.
Precautions:
- For best results apply Think Green Seaweed when the crop is actively growing. Avoid spraying during very high temperatures and bright sunlight.
