Description / Topleaf - Foliar Nitrogen
Landowner’s Foliar Nitrogen, Topleaf, is a clear liquid solution containing 20% Nitrogen (w/v – 20kg/100 litres). It is specifically formulated for foliar nitrogen applications and is used extensively nationwide on a range of crops.

Please note IBC containers carry over 1T in weight so please ensure the facility is in place to unload the product upon delivery.

Application
Feed Wheat:
By applying a fine foliar spray directly on to the wheat leaf at both flag leaf and ear emergence, nitrogen is immediately absorbed , thus by-passing the soil. The results in an increase in yield and optimum conversion from Nitrogen to Protein within the plant. For best results apply 60l/ha with water at flag leaf and ear emergence.
Milling Wheat:
By applying a fine foliar spray directly on to the Wheat leaf and glumes at milky grain stage, nitrogen is immediately translocated to the ears , thus by-passing the soil. The result is an optimum conversion from Nitrogen to Protein within the plant. All varieties of milling wheat benefit from Topleaf, for best results apply 200l/ha with 100l/ha of water.
Grassland:
Using Topleaf on after cut/after grazing, nitrogen is immediately absorbed regardless of weather, thus by-passing the soil which greatly improves efficiency. The results in an increase in yield and optimum conversion of nitrogen to protein within the plant. For best results apply 60l/ha with water at onset of growing/one week after cutting or animals being removed.
Potatoes (other root crops/brassicas):
Apply Topleaf from two weeks after tuber initiation, can be applied up a maximum of 4 applications during the bulking phase for baker/ware crops. The results in an increase in yield and optimum conversion of nitrogen to protein within the plant. For best results apply 50l/ha with water for potatoes and 60l/ha for other root crops.
Please consult your agronomist for crop specific application quantities, timings and advice. In general, applications can be made as a tank mix with a range of pesticides. Do not apply in extremely hot weather with no cloud cover; applications are best made in cool, overcast conditions, early morning or late evening being ideal.
