Description / QLF Allstock Sweet

QLF Allstock Sweet is, as the name suggests suitable for feeding to “all stock.” Allstock Sweet can provide a physical coating benefit to the ration whilst also giving a nutritional benefit from additional sugar. As such Allstock Sweet will help to enhance palatability and digestibility of forages and mask the presence of unpalatable ingredients in the ration. Allstock Sweet can also help to ease in changes to ration components. QLF Allstock products are of lower dry matter making them easy to handle, mix and pour on making Allstock Sweet a versatile product which can be fed in a wide range of feeding situations.

Delivery & Returns

Please provide 3-5 working days as all product is manufactured to order. It will then be dispatched using your chosen shipping method. Our transport team will call you to inform you of when delivery will be made, so please ensure that you can be reached on the contact number(s) provided. Please note IBC containers carry over 1T in weight so please ensure the facility is in place to unload the product upon delivery.

Application

Feed Rates
  • This product may be fed to all livestock to increase sugar and ration palatability, while helping to reduce sorting and cutting down dust.
  • Allstock Sweet is not formulated for ad lib feeding, as animals may tend to consume more product than necessary.  Over consumption may not be harmful to livestock; however, it is not essential nor economical.
  • The product is best used in a TMR or home mix. It may be fed to dairy, beef and  sheep. Inclusion rates in home mixed rations will depend on the desired consistency and ration requirements.
  • Recommended rates when mixed with cereals and compounds are 4-7% of the total ration (by volume) to be mixed.  It may be adjusted to a rate of 7-10% when used for calf and horse feeds, where a more moist end-product is desired.

Allstock Sweet is not formulated for ad lib feeding, as animals may tend to consume more product than necessary.  Over consumption may not be harmful to livestock; however, it is not essential nor economical.The product should be introduced gradually to acclimatise the rumen, typically in the first 1-3 days, 30% of target feed rate should be included. This should then increase to 60% (target feed rate) for days 4-6, 90% for days 7-9 and 100% after 10 days.Please note these rates are for indication only and actual feed rates must be approved by your QLF representative or qualified feed advisor. Always ensure plenty of fresh, clean water, unlimited access to forage, and a source of quality vitamins and minerals.
